Some people can find making that first contact with a counsellor a daunting experience. It is important that you feel comfortable with your counsellor. This initial consultation will give you a chance to meet me and ask any questions about counselling. From this you can make a decision on starting therapy.

Typically, we will set up a regular day and time to meet weekly. To get the maximum benefit from therapy, I recommend weekly appointments, but under some circumstances meeting every other week is a possibility.
Cancellations
I require 24 hours notice for cancelling an appointment. If less than 24 hours is given, you will be responsible for paying your session fee.
